Butterfly Thank You Card and Video

I love butterflies and try to use them as much as I can in my projects.  This was a fun card to create and I got to demonstrate how the Stamp-a-ma-jig works.  I'm usually a stamp and go type of person but really can't with this card.

The other thing about this card is I started doing Facebook parties in my business.  If you can't have a party in your home, you can still have one but everyone just logs in to Facebook at a certain time and we party together live through a Facebook event.  It's a lot of fun and I share exclusive products and videos and the hostess gets all the rewards of having a typical in home workshop!  I shared this video to demonstrate how to make this card.  Not the best quality and some background noise but enjoy my very first ever project video!

If you want to host a live Stampin' Up! Facebook party contact me at brittnycreates@gmail.com and we'll get started planning your event.

Stampin' Up! Introduces Photopolymer Stamps

What is Photopolymer Stamps?

Check out this funny video of home office staff trying to guess what photopolymer is!

Stampin' Up! has searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And they've found it! I am excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps for sale! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

My First Video!

I finally got the courage to create my first video. It's nothing creative, just an introduction and catalog tour. I was surprisingly not as nervous as I thought I would be filming myself and talking on camera. There were definitely some hiccups (having to switch from my phone to normal camera back to my phone) which affected the quality. I enjoyed editing and putting the video all together so I know that I will enjoy creating videos for you.  So, I hope you enjoy it and leave me a comment with your thoughts.  I plan to feature techniques and projects on my videos in the near future so subscribe to my YouTube channel Brittny Creates to know when I post videos.
