Spider-Man Name Banner

If you haven't read about my son's third birthday party do so by clicking here.

Here is the banner that I made for the party and is now hanging in his room with the Spider-Man letters I made that you can also see by clicking the link above.

Supplies Needed:

Card Stock: Real Red, Real Red DSP, Pacific Point, Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Accessories: Big Shot
                     Perfect Pennants Bigz Die
Spider Web Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
                     Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die
                     Bird Punch
                     Paper Snips
                     1/16" Handheld Circle Punch
                     Basic Black 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon

Directions: Using the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die and the Big Shot, make as many triangles as you need for the name.  Glue the Real Red circles from the Pennants Die to the blue triangles.  Run the Real Red triangles through the Big Shot using the Spider web folder.  Use the Basic Black pad to rub the ink on the raised side. (Make sure to cover your workspace as you will get messy doing this.)  Punch Basic Black and Whisper White with the Bird Punch twice.  Glue the birds together like this.
To make Spider-Man's eyes, use paper snips to cut off the heads and tails of the birds using the Whisper White wings as your guide.  (Sorry birdies!)  Glue the eyes to the Real Red triangle.

Click here to watch a video on how to make the paper rosettes that are behind each letter.  Glue the rosettes to the Real Red circle already glued to the blue triangles.

Die cut the letters for the name using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die and the Big Shot.  Glue these letters to the rosettes using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Use the handheld circle punch to make circles and run the ribbon through to assemble your banner.
